Made this dish the other day, I’ve posted it here before. We just call it “mangia”/”manja”.
Always wondered if this was just a Mediterranean dish, and/or if we adopted it from the local Jewish populations. It seems these are standard ingredients in the Balkans – tomato, fetta, herbs (we don’t use cumin), eggs, etc; baked and served on toast.
Quite a few of the trendy cafes make here in Oz now…
