People of Slovenia – how Slavs look like

The Slovenians are Slavic people that belong to the South Slavic branch of Slavic ethnogenesis. Country that by total population is one of the smallest European nations, and among the smallest Slavic nations that counts around 2,061,085 (2 million) people, making their closest relatives South Slavic Croats and West Slavic Slovaks. The Slavic, Germanic, Romance, and Hungarian languages meet here in Slovenia due to various historical influences however population is still majority Slovenian and as such Slavic. Slovenians resemble mostly northern Croats, Hungarians, Slovaks, eastern Italians and Austrians, again mostly due to proximity with those populations. As everybody in the region Slovenians are shorter in statue, fair, bright and happy by spirit so let’s see how Slovenians and Slavs look like:
