Czech Auto Industry Made Their Own “Hummer”, They Named It “Burek-one”

It could become very popular in the Balkans, because of its name

The Burekone company was founded in Czech Budejovice. Its founder is František Janeš, whose first project was a replica of the Hummer HX studio from 2008, built on the H3 model. Several copies were created, which until today are traveling on the roads of many countries from Spain to Mongolia. The latest project of the company is Bureko 6×6, which uses components and technical solutions of the Land Rover Discovery. 10 copies are to be made annually, but there are many more orders.

The three-axle Bureko 6×6 with an empty weight of 2.9 tons, has only the front wheels controlled. The drive uses a six-cylinder diesel engine with Land Rover with a capacity of 256 hp and a maximum torque of 600 Nm. It works with an eight-step automaton. From 0 to 100 km / h, it accelerates within 10 seconds and reaches a top speed of 155 km / h.
