Croatian architect Nikola Bašić back in 2005. has projected and designed a unusual 230-foot-long organ that produces sounds as sea waves splash over it. As Adriatic sea waves crash into these beautiful white marble-like stone steps they push the air inside and out through whistle-holes and in turn make mesmerizing harmony of random sea-made musical arrangement. This is one of those one-of-a-kind things that you can only see here in Croatian town Zadar. You can see below how Croatian Sea Organs sound like in given moment, as most of us have never seen or heard anything alike this will sure be interesting experience of listening how nature plays human made instrument:
These melodies are all random and affected by the sea waves.
The Sea Organ location has become a favorit spot for tourists when they visit Zadar
Many people enjoy many hours here due to beautiful sight and the organs melody.
Oh yeah did we mention that Alfred Hitchcock said Zadar has the prettiest sun set in the world? Well now you know!
