The ghost town of Pripyat was completely emptied on April 27, 1986 after the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant with the release of radioactive waste into the environment. More than 20 years have passed since people left him. This is a unique ghost town and in the old days prosperous industrialized city which was destroyed by the close proximity of the infamous Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster (only 3 km away). Besides the real Silent Hill and the French Oradeur-sur-Glane, there are thousands of ghost towns.
